This Privacy Policy explains the documented ways VN Guesthouse collects and manages information you choose to provide. It covers email signup forms and messages sent to contact@vnguesthouse.net.
Email signup information
When an email signup form is presented, it invites you to leave your email for future VN Guesthouse updates. The form asks for your email address and explicit agreement to the statement: “I agree to receive email updates from VN Guesthouse.”
The signup system stores your email address, a hash used to detect duplicate signups, the signup time, the source page path without its query string or fragment, the consent wording you accepted, and the collection status. These records are stored in the site’s WordPress database.
This signup currently collects details for possible future updates. Email delivery, confirmation and unsubscribe features require separate configuration, so no sending schedule is promised.
Contact messages
If you contact VN Guesthouse by email, the message contains the information you choose to send. This may include your email address, message text and any attachments you provide. Avoid including sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
Record access and removal
Authorized site administrators can view, export and remove newsletter signup records. These records are also included in WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools. Newsletter records remain in the database until they are removed or an erasure request is processed.
The signup system also uses temporary anti-spam rate records based on hashed network identifiers. These temporary records are subject to periodic cleanup.
Your choices
You do not have to submit the signup form. If you have signed up, you can request access to or removal of your record by emailing contact@vnguesthouse.net. Include the email address used for the signup so the relevant record can be identified.
You can also use that address for questions about the practices described on this page.
Links to other websites
VN Guesthouse may link to other websites. Those sites maintain their own privacy information and practices, so review their policies before submitting personal information to them.
